Dream Two.
I am atop and wood playground structure, like the towers of the original Kids Kingdom, but it is a single tower in my sisters back yard. It is dusk, I am watching three exotic looking deer, dark and sleek, graze in my parents pasture of a back yard next door. From the left, an enormous gray wolf lunges toward the unsuspecting three. I scramble down the the bottom of the tower as it wobbles as if not cemented into the ground, but merely setting upon it. When I peer out of the bottom, the deer have settled again. I see no sign of the Wolf but notice Hannah is out back too and I yell to her to get inside and tell Papa, which she promptly does. I head from the structure to the back door cautiously, but about four feet from twisting the knob the wolf appears, jaw clamped on my right wrist, gnawing. Gnawing. Ring, ring, ring...my sister is calling me back here in real life, she saves me. I am awake.

Dream one.
Night of April 1st.
I am alone, driving down a country road at night, something falls from the dark tree line above and dies on the road before me. I have an epiphony, all the dead squirrels on the road, now and forever have died from a fall from above not from being run over.
Photography and dreaming.
This blog will be an alternating gallery for my photography and for my nighttime dreams.
I want to present the contrast between a world where I have a fair amount of control over settings, environment, subjects and editing against the world of my subconscious mind, a mysterious, quirky, often symbolic and unusual world.
Photography is the visual manifestation of my everyday life, interests and mood, a space where I can choose the direction of my thoughts and attitude. I am most curious about my dream world and how that may affect my waking thoughts, moods and interpretations. I am curious to see if influences occur in any way.
